Balloon festival this weekend in Post Mills

The Experimental Balloon and Airship Association Meet will take place this weekend at the Post Mills Airport. Founded by Brian Boland nearly two decades ago, this popular community event draws balloonists from around the world who come to showcase their unique, homebuilt aircraft.
Caring Community Preschool, located right down the road from the airport, will once again be offering Dinner Under the Balloons starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 13th, and 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 14th. Balloons are expected to launch around 6 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as at 6 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Admission and parking for this event are free, leashed pets are welcome, and picnic blankets are encouraged.
